Na noite deste domingo (21), aconteceu nos Estados Unidos a edição 2017 do Billboard Music Awards. A cerimônia foi realizada na T-Mobile Arena, localizada em Las Vegas e foi conduzida pelo rapper Ludacris e pela atriz e cantora Vanessa Hudgens.
A dupla The Chainsmokers e o rapper Drake foram os atritas que mais receberam indicações, cada um com 22. A cantora Cher foi a homenageada da noite e recebeu o prêmio Icon Award. As nomeações para o Billboard Music Awards, diferente da maioria das premiações, não são feitas por um grupo de jurados, mas sim com base nas paradas musicais.
